Helen W. (Wingelman) SCHOEPKE

SCHOEPKE Helen W. (nee Wingelman), age 93 of Hawthorne of March 5, 2010. Wife of the late Adolf Schoepke. Beloved mother of Ellen Poremba, loving grandmother of Michael Poremba, great-grandmother of Sophia Poremba. She is also survived by one niece and one nephew. Mrs. Schoepke was born in Paterson and resided in Hawthorne her entire life. She worked for Broadway Bank in Paterson as a platform secretary. Helen was a member of the First Reformed Church, Hawthorne, as well as a member of the church's Ruth Circle. Funeral service will be held on Monday March 8, 2010 at 12 noon at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Ave., Hawthorne, NJ. Interment Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit the family on Monday from 11:30 AM until the service time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge, 2 Shelter Ln., Oakland, NJ 07436. My condolences go out to the family. Helen Schoepke and I were in the same delivery room at the same time, giving birth to our daughters, within minutes of each other, her daughter being named Ellen Joyce and mine, Connie Joyce.
I'm sure she is leaving a big void in her wonderful family and my prayers go out to all of them.
